If you put up wedding photos in my home from your wedding for how long did you keep them up?
I cant say that I have been in many homes where people have kept out wedding photos long after a wedding. I have only been married a year and our photos are beautiful. Basically, when and if do you phase them out if ever?

- I like mine being out. They remind me of our wedding day and I don't think I want to put those memories in box. My pics will always be out.
- I've been married now almost 8 years and still have my wedding pic out. But with my ex. never had one out. I guess real love makes the difference.
- Usually there are one or two photos placed on a shelf years after the marriage.
- I know people who still display their wedding photos and the have been married over 20 years.....i think its cool.......nowadays its something to celebrate then hide them away!!! you keep them up for as long as you want hun!!!
- The only one I would keep up for years is the one with the bride and groom only. The others will be in an album.
- There is no set rule and whatever suits you best. I love going into an old couple's house and seeing their wedding photos up and faded -there is something beautiful about that. But ultimately it's up to you...
- I've been divorced for 10 years and still have one of me and my dad on my mantle. It's for my son. I kept the wedding album on the coffee table the entire marriage. I grew up with my parents' album easily accessible.
- my friends still have one hanging after 11 years together...just one really beautiful photo...that says volumes about their love for each other. i prefer one or 2 but as the time goes on and you create other special memories than those photos need to be framed and put up...some of my favorites are vacations we have taken...so it's a collection and a personal choice.
- A wedding represents a wonderful milestone in your life. As long as you are still married to the person in the photos, I don't see a reason why you would ever want to put them away. I still love to look at mine as it reminds me of a very happy time. My husband and I have been married for over 13 years.
- If you like them, leave them. Your wedding day was a special event. My husband and I still have our prom pictures on the wall. I have had them up for 11 years now. You may eventually replace them with pictures of children but that is solely your choice.
- My wedding album is within easy access. The best pix are loaded onto a digital pix frame sitting on our bedroom bookcase Our wedding portrait is also hanging in the bedroom. They aint moving any time soon....lol
- My grandmother, who is in her 80's, still has her gorgeous wedding photos framed on her wall. She also has wedding photos of her children and grandchildren. Leave them up, you paid for them.
