If you put up wedding photos in my home from your wedding for how long did you keep them up?

I cant say that I have been in many homes where people have kept out wedding photos long after a wedding. I have only been married a year and our photos are beautiful. Basically, when and if do you phase them out if ever?

  1. i'm not married, but if i was i would want the photos to stay up. especially if they turned out really well and if they went along with other things in your house to accent it. i love black and white photos. they are classy and very pretty. i say keep it up! don't tuck them away in a shoebox to collect dust!
  2. I would always keep them, not many, but 2 of my favorite ones, one in the living room so everyone could see it and one in the bedroom (:
  3. I agree with "Fangs" (but I'm not Level 2 so cannot vote). Keep your photos in your house for as long as you want. Your wedding day is a special day, and your photos are reminders of the beautiful memories of that day. Chances are, you spent very good money on a photographer for that day; even if you didn't, show them off! All the best!
  4. I'd keep them up forever. I mean, I don't know if I'd have every single one plastered everywhere, but you know, the important ones. My friend's parents have been married for I think almost 30 years and they still have a couple of them up.
  5. I've been married for almost 7 years. My wedding photos are still displayed. I've phased out some of our dating photos for more recent ones. And i've also replaced some framed pics of our friends for our daughter, but the wedding ones have not been replaced! My grandmother continued to display her wedding photos until she died! We (the grandkids) loved looking at them when we were growing up.
  6. I've been married 6 months & haven't even put one photo out. I guess it's just an individual thing. It's funny because we have my husband's twin brother's wedding photos out all over the place & he's been married for something like 8 yrs. So, I've got my sister-in-law all over the place in her wedding dress but none of me LOL! If they're pretty photos & you like them, you keep them out as long as you want.
  7. Well its really your choice whether or not you you want to keep them up. i personally will keep some up in my house, what is the point in paying alot of money for something that you put away and no one could enjoy your beautiful day also. i will want so many people to see my wedding photos and think about what a great day we had.
  8. I have been married 5 years and I still have a few wedding photos in frames out. I have one in the living room, one hung in the hallway, and I have two in our bedroom. I don't think I will ever phase them out. I love them and like to look at them occasionally and remember the day. I also have the professional photos in a binder that sit on one of my end tables and I occasionally go back and look through it. I say keep them out forever!
  9. This April my husband and I will be married for 4 years!! I still have wedding photos all over the place. I guess that when we have kids I will start replacing wedding photos with their photos. But I don't think I will but them completely away I will probably put them in our living room downstairs & have the children photos upstairs when they can be seen by everyone. I love my wedding photos & paid good money for them so I don't think that I will ever just tuck them away in a closet.
  10. We have been married for almost 7 years. I have one 8X10 framed wedding picture in the dining room. I am not a picture person, but the wedding picture is one I would keep out.
