When should I have my wedding photos by?
My photographer seems to be taking a long time (over 3 months now) and I haven't seen any of my photos yet. How long should it really take for him to get them back to me? This is his part time job, so it's not like he has a wedding every weekend.

- Professional pictures take awhile. Not to mention photographers snap 1000 of pics at such events. So he had to Develop, make sure they were flawless, the holidays just pasted that's about right.They will look really good!
- Contact him and ask if you can at least see some. I work in a portrait studio and do weddings on the side and I have at least half on my website by 48 hours. It sounds a bit suspect to me, but ask before you panic.
- The probable problem, you've answered yourself. It's his part time job and he's possibly wearing himself a bit thin with two jobs. Really, you should have had some discourse with the photographer in the 3 months since the wedding. Generally I try to get photos back within a month. I definitely feel uncomfortable after 6 weeks has passed, but often it depends on the developing and how quickly the developer returns the prints. I would give him a phone call asking for an update, at least then you aren't guessing when they'll arrive and what the hold up is.
