Why do so many Christian white men have asian mail-order brides?

And not just mail-order brides but immigrants in general who barely speak English. I find this stuff is sickening mostly because of how dependent the women has to be.

13. I've never heard of this before. Hm, why asian and not any other race? Growing up I've known men who liked asian women for their smaller size. Some men like towering over a woman, weird but true.

27. My boyfriend's military father was divorced. His wife no longer wanted to be married and that was that. He took a whole year to try dating and, finding it too hard, took to the internet. He brought home this young woman from the Phillipines, that same age as his oldest son. All of her sisters have, likewise, been married to American military men. These men send money back to her family. These women love military men because they have decent benefits, job security and are often family oriented. I find it very distasteful.
28. And the source proving your statement to be true is? I am a white Christian Male and my wife is a White Christian Female. I live near a navy base and while there is a wide ethnic mix in marriages in our church. To the point that there are more white/black marriages than white/asian. So I say bunk to your assertion.
29. It is so wrong, but rationally, it's a win win situation, the brides get a to come to America, after so long they can get divorced, (that is, if their deranged husbands haven't locked them in a closet, to control them better) and they have a green card. So.....Whatever, people are crazy.
30. I've only known of one guy who did this and it was a disaster. I don't know what he was thinking but since his divorce he has seemed desperate to meet other women (who are English speaking and American that is). So I don't think it has anything to do with his spiritual beliefs.

32. I gotta wonder, how many "Christian, White, Men" you know. I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I've known at least, Hundreds, if not Thousands, of Christian White Males, none of whom had Mail-Order Brides, of Any nationality. The closest of known to was my brother, Not a Christian, who married a girl from China, not a MOB, he actually went, met her, and married her. They didn't stay together, and as it stands she is doing much better than he is.

35. And yet, I don't know a single one, I wonder how that happened? I go to one of the largest churches in this country, and don't know a single white man with a mail-order bride or an immigrant bride. You'd think with "so many" that I'd know at least one.
36. I have to agree with you, I know several men who have done this and do not understand myself. I feel it is very wrong and not fair to the women.
37. I don't know why, personally I think they are crazy. I think it is totally wrong to basically "buy" a woman from Asia when there are single Christian women right around them. This has happened at my church and it is just not right. I have noticed also that unfortunately they have the woman do a lot of the work around the house including mowing lawns, wood, other yard work. Not right at all and not fair to the women. P.S. None of the 3 men at my church that have done this are in the military, all 3 are white men, all 3 married women from Asia.
38. Yes it happens, I know a few men at my church that have done this. It is a wrong thing to do and it is hard to respect these men that have bought their wives. It doesn't seem Christlike to me.
39. I have 3 white male, Christian friends who are each married to an Asian woman. The women are from Japan, China, and thes, respectively. The phenomena of white Christian males marrying Asian females is largely because of how popular Christianity is becoming in many Asian nations. In South Korea and the Phillipines in particular, American Christian guys can find a plethora of Christian women to meet and marry.
