What do people wear to Italian weddings?

I have been invited to a wedding in Italy next month. What do people wear? is it likely to the be same as weddings in England, suit and tie etc?

Yes, I would think that whatever you would wear to a wedding in England (suit and tie) would be perfectly appropriate at a wedding in Italy....or France....or the USA...or any other country.
Yes, it's definitely the same as in England and in any other western country. Don't forget to ask about the weather in the region where you're going, to take the most appropriate suit with you. Here in the north, for instance, Autumn has started and temperatures have decreased a lot.... Nice journey to Italy!
