Two lights or just one for wedding photos?
Do I really need a two light set up for wedding photography, I am bying a full set up and wonder if I could get away with just one for now. I've been in lots of wedding recently and those photographers have just had one light... any opinions?

- Go to Monte Zucker site and look at his pictures with "one" light and more. A good place to learn.
- one should do fine go to google and read about photography lights
- That depends on where you place the one light. You can also get by with just your flash, even though I don't recommend it. Use bounce flash when indoors, just make sure that what you are bouncing off is white or very close to it. (Just no colors.)
- Are you buying lights with the intent of entering wedding photography? You may be super knowledgeable, if so please excuse my comment, but there is so much to know to be a decent wedding photographer. I would worry about using my camera and its flash to its full extent before I worried about adding more lights. That said, two light setups are more complicated than a single plus strobe, more variables involved and more ways to screw up. Monty Zucker is a good source. Also try the wedding and lighting forums on photo.net. Many photographers use mostly one or two strobes with a diffuser of some sort, or bounce flash rather than studio lights..
