What do you think are the best poses for wedding photos??

I was wondering what do you think are the best poses for our wedding photos. Be creative... I dont' want just the traditional everyone on the altar ones...

  1. The "rings" photo is always great. It's the one of only the bride and grooms hands. At my wedding, the photographer had my husband and I standing like he was going to dip me...it ended up being my favorite. Then there's the "kiss" photo....where you're almost kissing, but no quite. All good poses. For the bride/wedding party pic, but groomsman all picked me up...and for the groom/wedding party, all my girls gathered around him...some how, the photographer made it look like a flower w/my husband in the center.
  2. http://www.bradicalmindspew.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/WindowsLiveWriter/JonsWedding_149C3/IMGP2121%5B4%5D2.jpg Girls can pose like Charlie Angel Girls and Guys can pose as James Bon or Men in Black. I have seen where the wedding party is jumping in the air then the photo is taken. Makes for some funny faces.
  3. I love the "bridesmaids kiss the groom on the cheek photos". They are so friggin' cute! Recently, I've seen the popular photos where everyone in the wedding party jumps in the air with their hands up like they are so excited and the photographer snaps the shot while they're in the air. I can't decide if I like this pictures yet, or not! I love it when there is pictures of the groom and his guys walking down the street, with their sunglasses on or doing a walk across the street like the Beatles. I like fun pictures, where everyone looks like they're having a good time. I plan to sit on one side of a bench, with my bare feet on my husband's lap at the park where we're getting married. I like people looking off into the distance, searching for something. I also recently saw a picture where the bride was sitting on the grooms knee with her arm around his neck, and with bridesmaids standing up around them. The groom is looking at the bride as if she did something wrong, while the bride is rolling her eyes. haha...it was great.
  4. I think one of the sweetest pictures I have seen was my daughter sitting on the ground with her two little flower girls & they looked like they were having a quiet little talk. Another one was my daughter with her back to the camera, her train spread out & her flower girl sitting on it with my daughter looking over her shoulder at the little girl. Also, the bride holding her flowers up to her face like she's smelling them & without moving her head, just look up.
  5. Well, I am going to give my photographer a list of "must-take shots": The guys and girls getting ready, the traditional photos with some goofy ones thrown in. My entrance, my fiance' when he sees me, as we exchange vows, hold hands, exchange rings, kiss, etc. Then I want various poses of just the two of us, like this for example: http://flickr.com/photos/24604946@N08/2596636508/ As it would go perfectly with our English Garden wedding style =] The usual wedding party shots, and whatever the photographer fancies.
  6. Make sure you get some candid ones of you and your hubby just after you walk back down the aisle. I love ours, the look of relief is so funy, it's perfect. Outdoor photos of the 2 of you walking and holding hands. I like when there are some black and whites, and some with just the color of the flowers.
