what is it with girls and weddings and anniverserys?
why do girls get so obsessed with valentines day and weddings and anniverserys? its no big deal. i dont want a wedding i just wanna do it in court for a couple hundred bucks thats what my friends say to. why spend thousands on a wedding thats stupid. and who cares if its been 1 or 5 years since this day since you got married whats the big deal about a anniversery?

- I'm guessing you don't have a girlfriend. You'll never be able to keep one if you don't at least respect the things she cares about. Your attitude will get you a life of solitude.
- we like to celebrate our love for our husbands. that is why it is important. it is nice to stand up infront of family and friends and confess your love for one another. and lets face it in this day and age when a marriage is making it without being divorced that is something to celebrate and to be proud of. hope this helps
- A) a part of this is culturally determined phenomena. by expectation, advertising and reality TV also there is an element of keeping up with the Joneses. If you cant afford an expensive wedding don't have one. Remember The MARRIAGE is more important than the wedding. B) In the old days there was little money spent on weddings unless you were from the upper classes, Sometimes a bride would just get a new dress. (not necessary a white one) and a few items for housekeeping. If you have been married for a long time you might want to celebrate the fact your still together.
