How much does a DJ charge for a party, private events, weddings etc. and how much the Bartender?
How much does the bartender charge for a night not including tips for private events and occasions?

- Depends on the person and their experience. The amount of people, how long they're playing/tending for at the event come into factor as well. I will say one thing you get what you pay for!!!
- If you know of a friend or a friend of a friend that has any bartending experience, just ask them to do it for free. Most people will do it free because they know they'll make enough in tips to cover their night. Otherwise, I would not give them more than $100 for the night if you know they will be making tips.
- Last I hired them, 3 years ago, I paid around $300. for the DJ for 3 hours, plus tip; and gave the bartender $150. for 4 1/2 hrs., plus tip.
