What have you seen teens wearing at weddings lately?
I am going to a wedding soon and stuck on what I should wear. I was wondering what most teens guys are wearing to weddings these days. In other words, just what you saw kids around 13-16 (or what you wore) wearing at weddings to try and give e an idea. Helpful answers only please.

- a tux, or a nice dress shirt and dress pants with a tie
- If it's formal, they will wear a suit. If it's not formal, they will wear a button-front shirt in a light color with dress slacks and appropriate shoes. A tie makes it look more put-together. No jacket.
- Teens should dress similarly to the adults. If the wedding is semi-formal, you'd wear a suit and tie if you have it or dress pants, shirt and tie if you don't. If the wedding is formal, that means a tux.
- A suit if you have one If not A dress pair of pants, dark, long sleeve shirt A tie, Jacket or Vest At 13 to 16 you could still get away without wearing a tie and jacket
- here's some tips: solid colors are best, even black. NO white or ivory. flats are ok, as long as they are nice and not scrappy knee length is fine, not too short tho if the ceremony is in a church, make sure to have a wrap to cover your shoulders if the dress is strapless.
- the last wedding i was at there was only one teenager and she was wearing THE shortest skirt i have ever seen.... please dont be that girl....knee length or longer. and make sure your boobs are covered. and if you are a dude, put in some effort. nice pants and a button down shirt. no jeans, no t shirts
- It dependes on the wedding setting but most of the time jeans (nice jeans not baggy, trashy, holey, etc...) and a nice button up shirt. A solid color button up is the best, don't try to let them get away with wearing a hawian button up or anything like that, I know it sounds funny but I saw a kid wear one to a wedding once and all it did was make him stand out. The best thing to do is make them feel comfortable while making sure they look nice, if they style their hair let them. It is supposed to be a fun occasion and they shouldn't feel confined in their clothing. Hope this helps and you guys have fun.
- This is a boy asking the questions. I will tell you what my two teens (17 & 14) would wear. The oldest one would wear black dress pants or the pants to his suit if they were clean, a colored dress shirt and a solid color tie. Usually, black pants, black shirt and blue, pink or red tie - I don't like the look, but that's what they wear. He would skip the suit coat. My younger son would skip the tie and go with a sweater vest over a dress shirt - he would have the sleeves of the dress shirt pushed up to his elbows. Definitely no suit coat on that one either. I would not let them wear jeans and under no circumstances would they be wearing a tux - It's ridiculous to rent a tux for a teenager.
- t shirt and shorts and a big hat and thongs
- Guys - Formal pants with a formal shirt at tie, but most teens don't wear jackets (mostly just older guys). At the reception most of the loose the tie. Girls - For a teen a long evening dress is too much. A knee-length cocktail dress is the way to go. Something young and fun, like an A-line style with some tulle showing at the hem. Even a print like polka dots can be very cute. Top it off with a fun hair accesory like a big flower.
