How long does it take to get your wedding photos?

On average how long does it take to get wedding photos from photojournalistic photographers? The ones that are more modern and artistically enhanced?

1. it all depends on the photographer. If you mean how long as in, how long do we have to pose, should take less than an hour usually.... if you mean the pics have already been taken and you want to know when you will see them, I think most photographers take a couple of weeks. If you have a photographer, ask them. They will have the best information to give you.
2. It depends on the photographer and the number of photos. You have to speak to the photographer if you want it early. You can find the list of photographers online.
3. Depending on the photographer, you may never get your photos! Ask that the original proof CD be submitted to you as part of the *contract*. Also, see if you can assign a friend with a laptop, empty external hard disk, and memory card reader so that the photos taken can be downloaded at the end of the event. If not, then you should state in the contract that the *original* digital files in RAW format are to be burned to CD, not weak JPEG thumbnail shots. Ask that all rights to the photos be totally released to you. State in the contract that 60% down payment will be made but the remaining balance will be given when the goods are received.
