Where can I get brides maid dresses on a short notice?

Alrighty so two of my brides maids will be 9 and 7 months pregnant on my wedding date which is THIS September. Is it still possible to get a place to make the dresses or does anyone else have another idea for what they can wear? We are having a low cost quick wedding. Should I just shop off the racks? Thanks!

  2. You still have a good amount of time to pull this off. If you aren't picky about what they wear, have them (or you can do it) shop for dresses off the rack. Problem is that they may have a hard time predicting how big they're actually going to be by September so you may want to suggest they look closer to the wedding day.
  3. David's can get dresses fast. My girls ordered 3 and 4 months before the wedding. One got hers in 2 week. The other took 8 weeks, but she got it in plenty of time. We got lucky and neither needed alterations. They have plenty of styles that will work with maternity... but none of them are maternity-specific. You'd have to ask if they can be custom-ordered maternity in enough time. Alfred Angelo has one maternity dress online: http://www.alfredangeloanz.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?productID=a2887ac9-2b01-4f06-ba31-e938c9fa2050&categoryID=555ecb5a-3f9c-49d1-9076-36600cd244e7&pg=1&colorId1=. LOTS of colors. Pea In The Pod and other maternity stores have dressy sections. Pea In The Pod has a lot that resemble bridesmaid dresses on either of the above sites, so all you'd have to do is match the colors as closely as possible. Or even have the girls in different but coordinating colors: http://www.apeainthepod.com/maternity/dresses-evening-dresses.asp For example, this pair: http://www.apeainthepod.com/Product.asp?product_Id=656840023&MasterCategory_Id=MC3 http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&categoryId=3001800&currentIdx=5&subCategory=-49998976%257c3001465%257c3001609%257c3001800&catentryId=6142387&sort= This pair: http://www.apeainthepod.com/Product.asp?product_Id=255690023&MasterCategory_Id=MC3 http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&categoryId=3001799&currentIdx=19&subCategory=-49998976|3001465|3001609|3001799&catentryId=6166421&sort= This pair: http://www.apeainthepod.com/Product.asp?product_Id=255230023&MasterCategory_Id=MC3 http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&categoryId=3001799&currentIdx=6&subCategory=-49998976|3001465|3001609|3001799&catentryId=6168098&sort=
  4. Seriously, your local Macy's, Sears, JcPenney's or etc..... They should also being having after sales on prom dresses right about now. I'm not sure how formal or what colors your wedding will be or how inexpensive the dresses need to be but for example, these could be dressed up with just a few accessories: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_027B015323800001P?vName=Clothing&cName=Women%27s&sName=Dresses&prdNo=1 http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_027B018107900001P?vName=Clothing&cName=Women%27s&sName=Dresses&prdNo=23 http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_027B020736470001P?vName=Clothing&cName=Women%27s&sName=Dresses&prdNo=3 http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_027B019069330001P?vName=Clothing&cName=Women%27s&sName=Dresses&prdNo=24 http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_031J5989000P?vName=Clothing&cName=Women%27s&sName=Dresses&prdNo=19 These have nice prices too: http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=SIZ&ItemID=168145f&Ntt=long+line&hdnOnGo=true&Ne=4+6+1031+8+18+904+949+833&submit%20search.y=0&SearchString=long+line&submit%20search.x=0&N=4294959029&Nao=0&SO=0&PSO=0&CmCatId=searchresults http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=17cd803&Ntt=waist+wrap&hdnOnGo=true&Ne=4+6+1031+8+18+904+949+833&submit%20search.y=0&SearchString=waist+wrap&submit%20search.x=0&N=4294959029&Nao=0&SO=0&PSO=0&CmCatId=searchresults http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=50434&CatID=70419&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=186cfd6&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=50434|50444|70419&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=49&cmVirtualCat=&CmCatId=50434|50444|70419 http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=50434&CatID=70419&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=186cfbb&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=50434|50444|70419&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=33&cmVirtualCat=&CmCatId=50434|50444|70419 http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=50434&CatID=70419&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=1727b47&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=50434|50444|70419&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=98&cmVirtualCat=&CmCatId=50434|50444|70419
  5. Select a color and let the gals wear dresses of their choosing...I have seen this done and it looks very chic....the different styles do not matter as long as the same color is used for cohesion.
  6. Definitely shop off the rack. Have them wear matching maternity dresses. Truthfully the bridesmaid who is 9 mos. pregnant probably won't make it to your wedding.
  7. Definitely off the racks. Go to a maternity store and find something, then go to another store to find something similar for your non-pregnant bridesmaids... or give them a color and let them choose - I think if you're going low cost that may be best.
  8. I say buy a dress off the racks closer to the wedding. Why not just go to a department store and find an appropriate dress that you all like? They can try it on then and there and buy it straight away if they want. Department stores always have more than one of the same style so there shouldn't be a problem with them not matching. It's usually much cheaper than 'bridesmaids dresses' which have to be ordered and specifically made. The only issue you MAY have is colour - but if you choose other neutral colours for your wedding decore then it doesn't really matter what colour(s) the bridesmaids wear. You could even leave a lot of the coloured decore till the last minute as well - that stuff is only extras on top of the wedding and isn't really important.
  9. milanoo offers a free made-to-measurement service if you need when you order brides maid dresses there.the dresses are available in any other color, and available from size 2 to size 28.but, you should make sure how big they will be by september, then you will get the right brides maid dresses correctly.it has large selection of brides maid dresses with reasonable price and high price// good luck and congrats
  10. I recommend going to this website www.dynamicbrides.com I sent them a photo of a designer dress with my measurements, and they were able to make a replica for half of the price. The workmanship was top quiality, and no one could tell it was a replica. They should be able to help you. Good luck.
