- You order the bride, pay for it online with your credit card, and they'll ship it to you by UPS or FedEx. Allow 6 weeks for shipping and pray that she's still alive when you open the box.
- Pops forgot to add, no refunds, only replacement accepted. E-mail or call first for RMA before returning the merch for exchange.
- Just find one on the dating sites and start paying man, you are worth it.
- I've heard of this but never actually seen a magazine for this? CAn I see? jk
- THE FIRST ANSWERER HAVE GIVEN YOU ALMOST ALL THE DETAILS. THERE IS ALSO A NO RETURN POLICY IN THE PHILIPPINES, BE SURE YOU DON'T GET A SURGICALLY ALTERED "SHE".
- There are a lot of sites that get into this. Here is one that I like, but I am biased. It looks at the Truth About Mail Order Brides: http://www.internationallovescout.com/the-truth/ There are links to academic papers and such. Here's a review of one of the biggest agencies in the Philippines: http://www.internationallovescout.com/dating-site-reviews/a-foreign-affair
- Sigh.
- I guess the same as in all the other countries where you do that kind of thing.
- Do it for free* Much better to get a friendster.com account and add the video application, include in your profile that you are single and thinking of coming to visit but would like some ideas about where to go - avoid the cities and don't mention looking for wife/girlfriend - there's no need! When you think you've found the right one come and visit her. Some "mail order brides" are pushed into it by their families, you pay a lot of money and there's no guarantee she'll ever love you. I've lived in the Philippines for a year now and help people with their international relationships. I assure you this is the best way!
- Neither. It would be cheapest for you to go to university and take up sociology and psychology classes so you can learn about your intellectual shortcomings and social ineptitude, which has led you to believe that you (a) can actually "order" a mail order bride like a pizza and (b) cannot pick up even the ugliest girl in the UK so you have to resort to ordering women from across the world.
- lol.. Mail order bride is a now a perjorative (insult) phrase for a wife when the marriage is arrainged on the internet. Just a few decades ago, paper catalogs could be purchased, and were delivered by mail, and had photos of women who wanted to marry a foriegner, who could write postal letters to the women and develop a pen pal relationship, with the intentions that it would lead to marriage. This process could take years. Ironically, this tradition began in the American wild west and Australian Outback, when successful pioneers sought brides from 'back east' new england states, or europe, and most 'mail order brides' were from Ireland, England or the european ethnic homeland of the pioneer, who felt that importing a civilized, educated, young lady from developed nations preferable to choosing from the uncivilized 'native' women or bargirls available on the frontiers. Likewise, it was often regarded an admirable social climb for average city girls to marry a fairly wealthy frontier landowner. (some of the very rich land or oil barrons may have even caught a noble lady in a pre-arrainged postal correspondence marriage). It is ironic, because now-a-days the phrase refers to mostly women from underdeveloped 3rd world countries, migrating to developed nations for marriage. For the past 50 years or so, it has been almost impossible for a wife to just come to a foriegn land for marriage, and most countries, like US and UK now require couples to meet in person first, then go thru an elaborate visa approval process. Today you can not simply 'order' a bride from a mail catalog, and have her shipped to you, by paying the fees and travel expenses. A hundred years or so ago, this was a fairly common arraingement for men in remote frontiers that had a shortage of women. The only choice today is to visit the Philippines, and frankly IMHO I should suggest you not to make any commitments until you have spent several weeks in the Philippines, personally met, interviewed and dated several girls. Dating and marriage between couples that meet on the internet has rapidly become the predominant manner in which people get together. We could argue that the hundreds of millions of people that routinely chat, meet up, text, message, or use the internet for dating purposes, are 'mail order brides' or 'mail order dates'.. There is not much difference between chatting on myspace to someone in your same town, then deciding to hook up for a date.. than it is to chat with someone from the Philippines or another country.. except the airfare makes the first real 'date' a very expensive one..
