How do you feel about private weddings?
Do you think it's better to have your family and friend there than a private wedding with only your fiance? Some people like it that private and only between them and others like the big weddings? What do you think? (also, what kind of wedding you had as well)

- Like u said "some ppl" like big weddings but not you! I think everyone should have the wedding the y want.
- private weddings to me say that they do not need to have the attention or all that materialistic things to do something that 2 people want,that is commitment.to me it makes sense and in no way does it relate to the outcome of if the marriage will last or not.i had a very small wedding with only 4 people attending.me my now ex and 2 witnesses.the marriage lasted 13 yrs before i threw in the towel.
- i think you should only have people who believe in your relationship and not some one who is waiting to say i told you so i had a very small wedding at the jotp my folks and her aunt and uncle and grama very small private thing no dragging cans no 50 people we dont know that dont give a crap about us
- your wedding should be your wedding. have it how ever you want it to be. if you want only family there is nothing wrong with that. ours was bigger but we still only had 110. but really it only matters what you want.
- Actually some prefer private wedding due to Personal reasons and others don't have enough for a big wedding.But for me i will like my family and friends to be in my wedding,I'm not married yet.
- I think it's entirely up to the people involved. There's no right or wrong way to do it.
- Your wedding is personal to you and your fiance. If you have always dreamed of a traditional wedding, that's what you should aim for. If you would prefer a ceremony with just the two of you, that's what you should do. There is no right and wrong.

- Both my husband and I would have preferred to have a private, intimately small wedding but we knew our families would be upset if we didn't have a big traditional wedding so we went that route. We invited 150 people, 135 came to the wedding. It was a great time had by all!
- although the sex between husband and wife..... should be private. the marriage and the ceremony.... are and should be public. if it is worth celebrating... you should want to have people there to celebrate with.
