The groom is 5-7, the groomsmen are all 6-4. How do we do wedding photos without making groom look puny?
Steps at the front of the alter will help, but do you have any ideas for "after" the wedding?

- why dont you ask a photographer?
- Who cares if he looks puny. Christ, people come in all heights. Is this someone you actually care about? Doesn't sounds like it
- High Heels? I have some old logging boots with a 2" heel on them. Take the pictures anyways or get different friend. With the economy the way it is, I'm sure you could hire a bunch of people shorter than your husband to use as stand-ins.
- Use stairs or platforms. With the bride and groom at the top of course. Or maybe you can talk him into wearing platform shoes. HaHa!! Or you might get a standin look alike for just the photos of course. HaHaHa
- If you really care about it, I'm sure the photographer can have some ideas. For our wedding, we did do a couple pictures with the groomsmen seated on the stairs. You could have them seated or kneeling or on stairs. Otherwise, I'm sure your groom knows he picked taller men to stand next to him and doesn't care.
- have him stand on a box
- Well height is height, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. I personally wouldn't want to use platforms and go through all that trouble because it's not true anyway, he's 5'7" everyone knows it so it is what it is. However your photographer should know some tricks for the pictures. Like having you and the groom stand slightly in front of everyone else (about a foot or two), this is going to put the focus on you and him and sense he won't be right in a row with all the other guys you won't notice how much shorter he is then them. Our photographer also had our groomsmen do a V pose (think flying V from the Mighty Ducks) with the groom as the front point. We had two guys that were 6'6" and she put them at the end sides of the V, it looked really good and again sense the groom was in the front point position the height difference was not that noticeable. But over all I wouldn't give it to much worry, just be happy that you love him height and all :) Good Luck!!!
- Have the bride carry the groom. That way, no one would notice the vertical difference.
- leave that up to the photographer
