What happens at arab weddings and what should I wear?
My neighbor is lebanese and he is engaged to a girl from Morocco. Their wedding is at the end of May and he invited me to the wedding. Im not sure how lebanese weddings are supposed to be like and what to wear and stuff like that. Can any one help? Wouldn't it be weird asking him? They are Muslims but not very religious. How conservative should the dress be?

- I am Lebanese so what exactly do you want to know? As for what you can wear...wear anything you want. If you don't usually dress modestly on regular basis then I don't see the need to dress modestly for a wedding. Dress the way you normally dress for weddings and if you have any questions why don't you ask the guy who invited you? Have fun :) btw there is a 'Lebanon' section so you might want to try to post this question there and not on the Ramadan section.
- Just cause the wedding is arab that dun mean you gotta go there dressing like an arab, wear what you would wear at regular weddings.. She SAid - I know right, I've heard Cali muslims are very weak in their iman, most of them are muslim by name, it's very sad. I'm so glad I wasn't raised in that type of environment. But i'm not generalizing so all of yall dun attack me on this. I hear this a lot from my relatives and friends in Cali.
