What are the best size images for weddings on a Nikon D90?

What are the best size images for weddings, My D90 is set on large they are so big they take a while to resize for prints, would medium be ok for weddings.

  1. Personally I'd take them all on large, but look at upgrading the software you are using so you can perform at least some level of batch processing. If you take them on medium you are going to kick yourself at a later date if the quality is not all you wanted! Even something as simple PaintShopPro X2 will give you the ability to batch process. (sub question - my DSLR isn't a Nikon, so it's raw files are all fulsensor then, ie it can't it take a medium raw?)
  2. I would shoot them in RAW.
  3. I would shoot RAW for weddings. Full size RAW if you have a choice.
  4. Well are you shooting weddings professionally? If so, I would *hope* you're shooting in RAW. If this is just some snapshots, .jpeg fine should be sufficient.
  5. Memory cards are cheap now if that is another concern. Hopefully this is once-in-a-life-time wedding.. What are you trying to save?
  6. Always shoot RAW, you need that extra flexibility in the post processing. As to shooting RAW + jpg that's a whole different situation, and you should be fine shooting RAW + medium
