What are good gift ideas for the Brides Parents and Grooms Parents?

The brides parents are still married, although the grooms parents are divorced so do we get the step dad something also (the father never remarried only the mother did). Also when do you give them their gifts? The only one that likes something is the grooms father which likes fishing as for the others they dont like anything like this, they just go with the flow usually.

  1. A dinner bell..done that for both an office coworker when she was about to be married and my parents for their anniversary. Everytime they see that bell or ring it..they think of you
  2. Mothers love handwritten notes of thanks and monogrammed hankies. Dads like cufflinks, tie tacks, beer steins, etc. And yes, you can get a gift for the stepdad. And the gifts are usually given out at the rehearsal dinner. Good luck!
  3. Wow, were are in the exact same boat! I think were going to get things that aren't tailored to anything specific. Everyone likes to eat out, so were going to get a gift certificate for both the parents as a group and 1 for the same amount for my finaces father for an elegant dinner and nice evening out they can enjoy while were on our honeymoon since they will need to relieve stress to. If you wanted to tailor them, maybe get something fishing for the grooms father, something that your dad and fiances step dad need/want. And then for the moms maybe get a spa day for them that includes a masage, facial and pedicure. Or something along those lines.
